My love for content creation on social media came during the peak of the pandemic in 2020 when I realized I wanted to use my voice to elevate individuals to love themselves. Content creation is a passion of mine because it helped me use my voice to reach a larger audience.
As women, so many things we do are questioned because it “goes against the norm.” That’s why I love modeling and this side hustle even more, because it’s changing the narrative for what’s acceptable and teaching me to believe in myself.
A little bit about me...
and my background.
As a South Asian woman, I’ve leveraged my platform to address topics such as mindfulness, sustainability in fashion, finding one’s passion, and following your dreams while getting rid of the notion of a “timeline.”
I love creating content for brands in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle space.
My name means “moon” in my mother tongue, Malayalam, and it’s safe to say I am fascinated by the romanticism of the moon.
The causes I care for dearly are animal rights, women’s rights, and changing the narrative for societal “norms”
I have two tattoos, one on my rib and one on my shoulder. Both of my tattoos are religiously affiliated partly because I was scared my mom would threaten me with a one-way ticket to India if they weren't.
I’m the oldest of 3 siblings, but I am the shortest.
I never really played by the books growing up. I’ve worked abroad in Egypt, studied abroad at a farm school in Honduras, and did mission work in Nicaragua. All 3 experiences have contributed to my views of acceptance and helped me feel secure with my own Indian roots.
Our family has 4 cats, but 1 in particular has my heart. His name is Vava, and he is my snuggle buddy and little baby. I love spoiling him and all of our pets with treats, toys, etc. They’ve brought our family closer and for this I am forever grateful.
